Senior Care Leader Open Minds has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Senior Care Leader to join our team based out of our Taringa Hub.We are seeking a seasoned Leader to mentor, develop and manage teams of Care Leaders and Support Workers to deliver high quality, person centred, evidence based mental health and disability support services.You will provide operational and clinical leadership using to ensure our clients with high complexities are supported in managing complex trauma, behaviours of concern and communication needs.About us:Reporting to the Area Manager, the ideal candidate will:Lead a team of Support Workers and Care Leaders to support clients with severe and persistent mental health and disability needs through a recovery orientated and strength-based approach.Apply a commercial mindset to achieve and exceed performance outcomes on time and to budget.Ensure services are sustainable by maximising staff utilisation and billable hours.Appropriately allocate and match staff to clients to ensure clients' needs and preferences are being achieved.Develop and maintain partnerships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders improve service delivery to clients and identify new opportunities.Have a track record of building high performing teams with a focus on uplifting capability and identifying and closing gaps in knowledge, skills and competence.Is this you?Extensive experience in a similar leadership role working in Mental Health Sector, with demonstrated leadership capability in leading and developing other leaders.Skilled in leading teams through change within an evolving sector.Strong clinical background with extensive Service Delivery experience in providing evidence based person centred care to people with an intellectual disability and/or psychosocial disability with high complex behaviours.Extensive experience and knowledge of Complex Care, Restrictive Practices, Positive Behaviour Support Plans.A subject matter expert in operationalising the NDIS, including expertise in the processes, funding, guidelines, requirements of SIL funding and driving sustainable Service Delivery.Expertise in appropriately supporting the needs of individuals with transitioning after long stays in mental health facilities and/ or the criminal justice system.Project Management experience in implementing strategic initiatives and drive ongoing quality initiatives and improvements.Demonstrated financial management skills to deliver ongoing finically sustainable services that balance commercial and social outcomes.RequirementsCurrent approved Blue Card and Yellow Card or the ability to obtain one (includes criminal history check)Drivers Licence + own vehicle + Full comprehensive motor vehicle insurance. The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in clinical (nursing: RN, RPN, MRN), health, social science, community services.BenefitsBase Salary $86,060.00Salary packaging option availableLeave loading of 17.5% 86000 AUD Taringa 4068
