You must be able to undertake sleepover shifts and awake shiftsYou absolutely must be able to drive and own a functional working vehicle that you are happy to transport our clients in. The purpose is to be available to the client overnight for up to 8 hours while they sleep. These are clients that require less assistance. You would be provided with a separate room with a bed and free board and lodging. You will be provided with minimum four hours’ paid work either before or after the sleepover as part of your shift.The expectation is that would sleep and you would only perform work if required. If you are required to work, you would be paid at-least 1 hour at overtime rates. As part of this Sleepover Shift you would also receive a Sleepover Allowance of $53.86 per shift to compensate you for being available and away from home overnight.Awake Shifts Are to support clients that require a lot of regular assistance. For these shifts a ‘Sleepover’ would not be appropriate.
