An exciting opportunity exists for an individual to join Open Minds in a Care Leader role based at Taringa. An excellent opportunity to build existing leadership skills to achieve positive client outcomesDemonstrated ability to make sound commercial decisions balancing client needs About us:About us:Reporting to the Senior Care Leader, this front-line leadership role will be responsible for the following key accountabilities:Build a high performing and positive team culture that focusses customer’s goals using evidence-based practices.Inspire your team, supporting and guiding the Support Workers in the delivery of recovery-oriented practice.Establish and maintain positive relationships with the clients, families, carers, employers.Manage the resourcing, recruitment, onboarding and quality management to meet clients’ needs.Ability to achieve and exceed performance outcomes on time and to budget.Support client satisfaction and ensure clients are appropriately supported in their needs.Maximise billable hours for direct reports.Key requirementsMinimum 2 years’ experience in a similar front line leadership role working in Mental Health Sector.Significant experience in delivering high-quality mental health and disability services.Knowledge of Complex Care, Restrictive Practices, Positive Behaviour Support Plans (desirable and therefore should be clearly identified in your application).Excellent problem-solving skills, an ability to think and act quickly on your feet.Demonstrated experience at successfully managing and resolving crises and a high level of resilience.Financial literacy including reading P&L’s, delivering on budgets, managing costs and maximising staff utilisation.Current knowledge of NDIS funding and processes.Current approved Blue Card and Yellow Card or the ability to obtain one (includes criminal history check)Drivers Licence + own vehicle + Full comprehensive motor vehicle insurance. Candidates with clinical background would be highly regarded.BenefitsBase Salary $78,914.68Not for profit salary packaging option availableLeave loading of 17.5% 78000 AUD Taringa 4068
